Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

with Chung

Touch and movement are fundamental aspects of our human experience, allowing us to cultivate a sense of community that fosters safety, freedom, creativity, and bonding among individuals.

About me

I'm Chung Nguyen, a Vietnamese dance artist and certified Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist based in Melbourne/Naarm. I'm a registered member of PACT (The Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists). I look forward to supporting you on your well-being journey. Through the practice of BCST, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, professions, and a range of gender identities. They have found the integration of touch and body awareness, in addition to somatic practices beneficial in their healing journey. With over a decade of international experience as a dance artist and extensive embodiment training, I constantly travelled to different parts of the world, always in a 'ready to move' mode. In 2022, I moved to Naarm/Melbourne to reunite with my partner post-pandemic, embarking on a significant shift and challenge to both my artistic practice and life. As I embraced the process of adapting and settling into my new life here, I found myself fascinated by the practice and principles of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST). It focuses on the cultivation of stillness, embodiment, presence, and touch as a therapeutic practice, which resonates deeply with me and my values. Moreover, it has also helped me find balance and complement my dance practice, which primarily centers around body movement. This practice has become an anchor, helping me connect with the community here, and I'd like to pay respect to the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation where I live and practice. In the treatment process, my focus is to create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore, learn, and embrace wholeness within yourself through the combination of Craniosacral Therapy and body awareness exercises. I believe that the journey of self-healing may extend beyond the timeframe of clinical sessions and should become an integral part of your daily life. In addition to my clinical work, I'm interested in offering you practical body awareness exercises that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine. I'm also interested in supporting individuals with chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and injury recovery. Generally, I recommend 3, 6, or 8 sessions, with ongoing evaluations for optimal results.
